They were alerted around 3 p.m. by a member of this family when everyone in the house was complaining of headaches,

reports .

The couple and their children, a 21-year-old young man and an 18-year-old woman, were taken care of on the spot by the emergency services.

They were then taken to hospital where they were placed in a hyperbaric chamber.

The occupants of the accommodation had indeed breathed carbon monoxide fumes for a long time and their bodies had to be re-oxygenated.

According to a police source quoted by our colleagues, these gas releases were caused by the house's boiler which was "poorly maintained and defective".

Law enforcement would like to remind you of the importance of boiler maintenance.

“Carbon monoxide poisoning remains common.

Even in small quantities, this gas can be deadly,” they warn.
