The crews of the armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Russia and Belarus practice defeating the enemy with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM).

This was stated in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The training took place on the territory of the Republic of Belarus for the purpose of combat coordination.

“The crews take up firing positions and begin to search for a target for its further destruction.

Here, coherence in the work of calculations is extremely important.

Fighters must understand each other perfectly.

Everyone should know what to do, ”the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The ATGMs used make it possible to fire on a “fire and forget” principle, which allows the crew not to accompany the ammunition and change position, avoiding return fire.

As noted in the defense department, today this type of anti-tank weapon "is one of the most accurate, and therefore dangerous infantry anti-tank weapons."

Also, the crews of armored vehicles of the two countries take extreme driving courses in forest areas and in conditions of deep loose snow.

“In the depths of a pine forest, classes are being held to control military equipment.

On the one hand, it looks like an extreme driving course, on the other, like a snow rally.

In off-road conditions, where it’s not easy for a person to get through, the snow is loose and very deep, the equipment is moving calmly, without stops and hitches, ”the message of the Russian department says in Telegram.

Also, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus are currently practicing tactics for conducting military operations in the city, including cleaning up premises.

The footage released by the Russian military shows assault groups training in narrow spaces.

Soldiers are trained to inspect the premises, fire from machine guns and use hand grenades.

“In a special training complex, classes are held with imitation of a clash in an urban environment, including cleaning the interior of buildings.

In a labyrinth with many rooms, the fighters must go into each, be sure to cover each other.

Thus, the coordination of combat twos takes place.

Here, the servicemen work in a combat united way, ”the department added.

In a RT commentary, Andrey Koshkin, a member of the Academy of Military Sciences of the Russian Federation, stated the high importance of training Russian and Belarusian military personnel in fighting in urban areas.

“Fighting in the city has always been difficult for the reason that almost the most ordinary houses turn into mini-fortresses.

For military purposes, they can use roofs, apartments, basements, industrial enterprises.

An additional and significant difficulty lies in the fact that the enemy can use the population as a human shield, as was the case, for example, in Mariupol.

Nevertheless, the army must definitely receive skills for operating in cities, ”Koshkin emphasized.

"Reliable Security"

From the reports of the defense departments of the two countries, it follows that the servicemen of the Russian and Belarusian armies regularly work out the joint implementation of combat missions.

Training takes place daily.

On December 19, the Russian defense department distributed footage of intensive combat training of military personnel who are part of the regional grouping of forces (RGV).

The video shows firing from artillery pieces, tanks, grenade launchers, machine guns, sniper rifles, machine guns.

As the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation clarified, the troops of the Russian Armed Forces are also practicing driving combat vehicles, passing a psychological obstacle course, and studying the skills of tactical medicine.

On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a press conference following the results of negotiations with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, said that "combat coordination events" are currently being held on the territory of the republic.

As the head of state stressed, the troops of both countries will continue joint exercises.

“We agreed to continue to jointly take all necessary measures to reliably ensure the security of our two countries, to give priority to the training of troops, to increase their combat readiness and combat capability, and to continue the practice of regular joint exercises,” Putin said.

Moreover, Moscow and Minsk decided to introduce a new form of military cooperation - training the crews of combat aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force, which are converted for the possible use of ammunition with a special (nuclear) warhead.

“I emphasize that this form of cooperation is not our invention.

The United States of America, for example, has been conducting similar activities with its allies within the NATO bloc for decades.

Such coordinated measures are extremely important in connection with the tense situation on the external borders of the Union State," Putin added.

According to experts interviewed by RT, military cooperation between Moscow and Minsk is reaching a new, deeper level due to the rapid degradation of the military-political situation near the borders of the Union State.

The goal of the parties is to form a single defense space.

At present, a unified air defense system is on combat duty on Belarusian territory, and a regional grouping of troops, created in October, is also stationed there.

According to Andrei Koshkin, in the current situation, the Belarusian army should be ready for a serious armed confrontation.

“Poland is NATO's foothold on the eastern flank, from which various forms of aggression against the Union State can be committed.

In addition, Warsaw plans to increase the size of the army and thoroughly equip itself with heavy equipment.

The Poles are already gaining combat experience by fighting against the RF Armed Forces as mercenaries.

Minsk is clearly not going to ignore such circumstances,” Koshkin said.

Transfer of experience

According to experts, Minsk is interested in Moscow helping to increase the combat readiness of the troops, especially taking into account the experience gained in the special operation.

In this regard, the Belarusian military is being trained in methods of urban combat, the rules for the dispersal of military equipment and the methods of using small-sized UAVs.

So, in mid-December, a training camp with operators of unmanned aerial vehicles was held on the basis of the 11th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

Military personnel of the Russian army and teachers of the 927th center for the preparation and use of unmanned aerial systems were invited to the event as instructors.

This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

Major General Andrey Nekrashevich, head of the Main Directorate of Combat Training of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, said that Russian instructors gained experience in the combat use of UAVs, which they are now passing on to Belarusian comrades, “which is important for operations as part of a regional group of troops.”

“Now almost every company of the Armed Forces has such quadrocopters, and our task is to train the operators of these devices to skillfully and efficiently perform the assigned tasks ... At present, it is no longer possible and wrong to study from books, so we simply have to learn from experience and introduce it into the training of our military personnel," Nekrashevich emphasized.

In an interview with RT, military expert Alexei Leonkov said that Belarusian servicemen are striving to learn from the experience of the Russian troops gained during the NWO and the Syrian operation.

“As far as I can tell, the leadership of Belarus and its military personnel are aware of the need to intensively improve the professional level of the army, the need to be prepared for any scenario, given the aggressive rhetoric of the Kyiv regime and the factor of growing military pressure from NATO countries from the north and west,” said the expert.

According to Leonkov, joint exercises and training should result in the creation of a single organism from the regional grouping of troops, where issues of interaction between units are worked out at the highest level.

“The purpose of the activities that we are now seeing is for the different units to act as a single entity.

This requires the unification of charters, management methods, and synchronization of the work of headquarters.

Our troops strive to work in one coordinate system and in a single information space, ”concluded Leonkov.
