"In the course of offensive actions": the Russian Armed Forces occupied new dominant heights and lines in the Donetsk direction

The Russian Aerospace Forces in the Kupyansk direction destroyed the oil storage facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

“In the area of ​​​​the settlement of Andreevka, Kharkiv region, an oil storage facility was destroyed by the Russian Aerospace Forces, from which military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was supplied with fuel,” said Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, during a briefing.

Also, in the Kupyansk direction, up to 60 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored personnel carriers and three pickup trucks were destroyed by a complex fire defeat in the Kharkiv region.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, more than 30 Ukrainian militants, one tank and five pickup trucks in the Donetsk People's Republic were liquidated by army aviation strikes and artillery fire at places of accumulation of manpower and military equipment.

At the same time, six Ukrainian servicemen laid down their arms and surrendered.

“In the Donetsk direction, in the course of offensive operations, Russian troops occupied new dominant heights and lines.

During the day, more than 80 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank, three infantry fighting vehicles and four vehicles were destroyed in this direction, ”the official representative of the Defense Ministry emphasized.

In the South Donetsk direction, artillery fire hit the manpower and military equipment of the units of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade.

Enemy losses amounted to 50 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded, two armored combat vehicles and four pickup trucks.

In addition, during the day, operational-tactical aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces groupings destroyed various military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

So, in the Kherson region, three US-made M-777 artillery systems, a self-propelled firing system of the Ukrainian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system and a P-18 target designation radar were destroyed, in the DPR - a radar station of the Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile system and a combat vehicle of the Grad multiple launch rocket system, while in the Kharkiv region and the DPR two depots of artillery ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed, and in the Zaporozhye region and the DPR two hangars with weapons and military equipment of foreign production were destroyed.

In addition, 63 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 87 districts.

Along with this, Russian Aerospace Forces fighter aircraft shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the Krasnogorovka region of the DPR, and a Mi-8 helicopter not far from Artyomovsk.

Air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian drones and intercepted two HIMARS multiple rocket launchers.

Matvienko said there was no need for a new wave of mobilization

The theme of the second wave of mobilization in Russia is not on the agenda.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko at a press conference following the results of the autumn parliamentary session.

“Colleagues, there is nothing to add to what the president said.

You well heard the statement of the President of the Russian Federation on this subject that there is no state need for a new wave of mobilization, and I will honestly tell you, as a member of the Security Council, I say absolutely sincerely: this topic has never been raised, has not been discussed, and today it is not at all in agenda, ”RIA Novosti quotes Matvienko.

According to her, such fakes are a tool of the information war against Russia by Western "partners".

“We know from where, where these fakes are fabricated in Ukraine, through which networks they are dispersed.

Their first task is to bring discord into Russian society, and the second task is to cover up, at least somehow explain the eighth or ninth wave of mobilization in Ukraine that is already being prepared, to somehow try, to lay some ground.

It has already been announced, in my opinion, and the next wave of mobilization in Ukraine will begin from the new year, ”explained the speaker of the Federation Council.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin, answering a question about mobilization, said that additional mobilization measures do not make sense, there is no need for the state and the Russian Defense Ministry.
