“DR correspondent for Russia and Ukraine Matilda Kimer has been stripped of her accreditation and can no longer work as a journalist in Ukraine.

She was informed back in August when she received an email from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which issues accreditations, ”the radio reported.

The letter stated that the accreditation was canceled by order of the SBU.

The SBU told the journalist that some of her posts on social networks “look like she sympathizes with Russia.”

As noted, the Danish Association of Journalists strongly condemned the restrictive measures against Kimer.

Earlier, Detector Media reported that the Ukrainian authorities had revoked work permits for at least six journalists, including CNN and Sky News, due to reporting from Kherson.

The Associated Press published photographs from Kherson showing people tied to poles.

The caption to the photo says that “a Ukrainian soldier and local residents look at two alleged collaborators tied by the hands to poles in Kherson.”
