The man is already known to the police, and according to reliable sources to SVT, the man can be connected to a criminal network and drug trafficking in Norrliden.

• Five days later, on

February 16,

the public raises the alarm just before midnight and reports loud bangs around Norra Långgatan on Kvarnholmen.

The police make findings that can establish that there was another shooting.

• On

February 18,

members of the public raise the alarm again about loud bangs, this time on Värsnäsvägen in Snurrom.

The police find bullet holes in an apartment and classify the incident as attempted murder.

• The next day, February

, there is a shooting on Två bröders väg in Kalmar.

This time too, an apartment was shot at.

No one was injured in the shooting, but the police are classifying the incident as attempted murder.

• On the night of March

6,

another person is shot dead in Kalmar.

A 25-year-old man is shot with several shots at Ängöleden.

The police connect that incident to previous shootings in Kalmar.

• At midnight,

April 14

, there is a shooting on Smålands Lejons väg in Norrliden.

No one was found injured and the police are classifying the incident as a serious armed crime.

• That same night, three hours later, a window is shot into an apartment on Två Bröders väg in Norrliden.

No one was home in the apartment and the incident is classified as aggravated armed crime and attempted murder.

• At midnight on Sunday

22 May

, a 19-year-old man is found shot outside at Funkabo School in Kalmar.

According to sources for SVT, the 19-year-old can be linked to one side of the gang conflict in Norrliden.

A man in his 20s is arrested the day after the murder, but is released a few days later, even though the suspicions against him remain.

• Shortly after 7pm on Sunday

18 December

, a teenage boy was shot at a grocery store in the Norrliden district.

The boy is seriously injured.
