Last week, the government called a press conference about the current energy situation in Sweden.

There, the ministers asked the Swedish households to save electricity to reduce the risk of disconnections.

- Two percent of the total electricity use in Sweden corresponds to approximately 3 TWh and that is approximately the same amount that we can save together by lowering the heat indoors by one degree, or halving the use of hot water only in the residential sector, said Energy and Food Minister Ebba Busch ( KD) at the press conference.
