SD's chairman becomes temporary municipal councilor in Skinnskatteberg: "Hope for better collaboration"

- It feels great to be elected municipal councilor even if it is only until the next municipal council in March, says Ewa Olsson Bergstedt (SD).

The situation after the autumn's change of power in the municipality has been described as turbulent, not least after M chose to drop out at the same time as L announced that they are going in the opposition.

But now the chairman of SD is looking ahead.

- The main thing is that we move forward in the right direction where we act like adults and that we set a good tone, says Olsson Bergstedt.

Hope for better cooperation

In addition to her positive attitude towards her new role as temporary municipal councillor, Ewa Olsson Bergstedt also hopes for better cooperation between the other parties in the municipality.

- We Sweden Democrats must seek support and we agreed with L, C and M about what we wanted to do to move Skinnskatteberg forward.

During Monday's municipal council, the party's budget proposal was also hammered through.
