The case goes back a few months but has just been revealed by Franceinfo.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and placed in police custody at the end of July, then indicted and imprisoned by the judicial court of Pontoise (Val-d'Oise).
He is suspected of having sex with a disabled 14-year-old girl he met on TikTok in the fall of 2021.
After learning that she had become pregnant, the young girl, who has since given birth, filed a complaint.
She first explained to the gendarmes that she had fallen in love.
Then she assured them that she hadn't been able to say no to this older man who would have been “urgent”.
The suspect was interviewed by the military.
He allegedly claimed that it was a consensual relationship and that the teenager seemed more mature than her age.
But this man is also suspected in another case.
He would have had sex with a 12-year-old girl, also met through social networks.
The facts would have taken place in February and March last in Seine-Saint-Denis.
According to the first elements of the investigation, which is continuing, the respondent would in both cases have offered money in exchange for sex.
