Italy extradites the former Bundeswehr officer arrested during the "Reichsbürger" raid to Germany.

A court in the central Italian city of Perugia made a decision on Monday, according to the Ansa and Adnkronos news agencies.

A European arrest warrant was issued against the 64-year-old.

Police officers arrested the former commando on December 7 at a hotel in Ponte San Giovanni near Perugia.

According to the authorities, they had previously received indications that the man was in Italy and have been monitoring him since then.

When German law enforcement issued the European arrest warrant, the police struck and arrested him.

In the major raid on the "Reichsbürger" scene, the federal prosecutor arrested a total of 25 people.

She accuses 22 of them of being a member of a terrorist organization that wanted to overthrow the political system.
