The president will be the next guest on the program "Les Rencontres du Papotin", scheduled for January 7 on France 2. Broadcast from 8:30 p.m., the pre-recorded program will show the French Head of State answering questions from the editorial staff of

Emmanuel Macron is the third President of the Republic, after Jacques Chirac in 2002 and Nicolas Sarkozy in 2015, to engage in the exercise.

, launched in 1990 by Driss El Kesri, an educator at the Antony day hospital, near Paris.
Since then, many celebrities (actors, singers, writers, filmmakers, politicians, etc.) have been interviewed by the newspaper's editorial staff.
The TV show, moderated by Julien Bancilhon, editor-in-chief of the publication and psychologist, was launched in September on an idea by directors Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache.
