This is reported by the portal Dutch News.

According to the portal, the Dutch authorities granted Ukrainian refugees the right to stay in the country without going through the procedure aimed at considering an asylum application.

In addition, Amsterdam also allowed refugees from Ukraine to take up employment in the country immediately upon arrival.

Other groups of refugees do not have such rights, the publication adds.

“The state is obliged to treat them equally,” the article concluded.

Earlier, Foreign Policy columnist Anchal Vohra said in her article that the European Union is helping Ukrainian refugees to the detriment of poor countries in Asia and Africa.
