• ERE case The Supreme Court closes the penultimate fringe prior to the entry into prison of those convicted by the ERE

  • Courts The recovery of the loot from the ERE slows down

The Comisiones Obreras and UGT unions are on their way to the bench for their involvement in the macro-cause of corruption of the ERE, the plot created by the previous Andalusian governments of the PSOE to distribute clientelist and opaque

680 million

over a decade.

The investigating judge of

the ERE case

has just completed the investigation of two other pieces detached from the macro-cause in which the two unions are involved.

The most significant is the aid for the amount of

19.9 million

euros granted by the Board to Hijos de Andrés Molina SA (Hamsa) and its successor Primayor Alimentación Andalucía SA (integrated into the Campofrío Group).

Among the twelve investigated in this separate piece of the ERE case are several directors of Hamsa and Primayor;

representatives of the CCOO and UGT unions, among them the

ugetist recruiter

to

Juan Lanzas

;

two "

intruders

";

a director of the mediator Vitalia;

a lawyer;

an alleged figurehead and the president of the Primayor company committee.

In the same way, the magistrate directs the procedure, as subsidiary

civil liability

, against Primayor Alimentación Andalucía SA, Primayor Foods SL, Grupo Campofrío, Association for the Socio-labor Promotion of former workers of Hamsa, Vitalia, UGT-A, UGT, CCOO Trade Union Confederation and a law firm.

The other piece of the ERE that is on the way to being judged is the one referring to the aid that the Board granted for a total amount of

3,104,791.82 euros

to the company

Intesur

SAU This piece is directed against seven people.

Those investigated are the former Employment Delegate of the Junta in Seville

Antonio Rivas

;

three representatives of the mediator Vitalia;

two "intruders" (beneficiaries of insurance policies despite not having been employees of the company), and a representative of the

CCOO

union .

civil responsible

Likewise, the magistrate directs the procedure, as subsidiary civil liability, against Vitalia, CCOO-Industry, the CCOO Trade Union Confederation and the CCOO-A Trade Union Confederation.

In both pieces of the ERE, the reinforcement judge of the Investigating Court 6 of Seville,

José Ignacio Vilaplana

, considers that the facts investigated could constitute alleged crimes of administrative prevarication, embezzlement and documentary falsification, as reported on Tuesday by the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA).

In the Hamsa and Primayor piece, the examining magistrate explains that it is not possible to purify possible criminal responsibility or continue the proceedings for their participation in these events against

six former high

-ranking officials of the Junta, since they have already been tried in the main trial of the EREs.

In this oral hearing, 15 former senior officials of the Andalusian Government have been sentenced, among them the former presidents of the Board Manuel Chaves and José Antonio Griñán.
