Three men in their twenties suspected of burglary were arrested last Monday in Villefranche-de-Rouergue (Aveyron).

They were taken into custody and then presented to justice on Wednesday.

They are suspected of being behind, on November 19,


the assault on a couple, assaulted and robbed at their home.

An investigation had been opened to find these individuals and the stolen objects.

A total of 35 soldiers were mobilized for the arrests.

One of the men was remanded in custody, the other two under judicial control.

Their trial is scheduled for January 11.

A fourth person, a fence installed in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, will also be summoned to court after two stolen items were found in her home.

The gendarmerie recalls the importance of protecting your home well and of warning the police in the event of a prolonged absence, particularly in western Aveyron, where an upsurge in burglaries has been observed for two months.
