The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the Israeli occupation forces shot a boy in the village of Beitunia, opposite the Ofer camp, west of Ramallah, which resulted in serious injuries.

Eyewitnesses stated that the occupation soldiers left Muhammad Hamamra (16 years old) to bleed before allowing an ambulance crew to take him to the hospital.

Israeli sources claimed that the boy intended to throw stones at the soldiers in the vicinity of the camp, but eyewitnesses said that he was standing on a high hill far from the soldiers.

A United Nations report revealed that the Israeli occupation forces have killed 150 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 33 children, since the beginning of this year.

Three UN experts condemned the excessive force used by the Israeli forces against the Palestinians.

The bodies of the martyrs

In the meantime, the Israeli occupation forces handed over the bodies of the two martyrs, Salama Sharaya from the town of Birzeit, and Khaled Anbar Al-Dabbas from the town of Jifna, to the Palestinian General Authority for Civil Affairs.

The Palestinian Authority said that the two bodies were transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex, where they will be buried today, Saturday.

The occupation forces opened fire on the car of the two martyrs, on October 3, during an arrest campaign in the Jalazoun camp, north of Ramallah.

With the handing over of the bodies, the occupation authorities continue to detain the bodies of 117 Palestinians since returning to the detention policy in 2016, in addition to 256 others who have been holding them for years in the number graves, according to the national campaign to recover the bodies of the martyrs.

The term “number graves” refers to simple burials, with a metal plaque bearing a number, not the martyr’s name, over each grave. Each number has a special file about the martyr kept by the Israeli security authorities.
