It is when dusk falls that it becomes particularly striking that Kiruna's old center is being dismantled.
Most shops and most residents have already moved out and almost all shop windows and most apartment windows are empty and dark.
Comfort and security
That is the background to the Winter Light project that LKAB and Stadsliv Kiruna are behind.
It is about light art that is projected onto streets and house facades as well as paths and parks that are illuminated in different ways.
The idea is to create comfort and security in the old city centre.
