The carnival was hosted by the Hunan Youth Association of Hong Kong and co-organized by 10 youth associations including the New Social Federation's Wholehearted Youth Volunteer Team.
In his speech, Hong Kong Legislative Council member Yang Yongjie sent New Year blessings to Hong Kong youth in advance, wishing that the motherland will prosper and Hong Kong will continue to open a new chapter.
He said that so many youth associations from the same hometown have brought their own distinctive culture to the stage, showing the love of the Hong Kong youth in the new era who love the country, Hong Kong and their hometown.
