The guests of the Berlin hotel in which a large aquarium burst were taken to heat buses because of the power failure.

And to save the fish remaining in other aquariums, the power supply should be restored quickly or housing found elsewhere.

And then there is other news of the day: After massive Russian rocket attacks, large parts of Kiev, Kharkiv and Poltava are without electricity, heating and running water in wet and cold weather with temperatures around the freezing point.

So while in Berlin the guests of a luxury hotel are quickly warmed up and tropical fish are saved, millions of Ukrainians don't know when their homes will be heated again and when they can cook something warm again or at least make tea.

It goes without saying that people and animals will be helped after the accident in Berlin.

But the fact that the missiles were fired at Ukrainian cities at the same time shows how little can be taken for granted in view of the war in Europe.

It was only ten months ago that Kyiv was still a city like Berlin, where those affected were quickly taken to a warm place after an accident in winter.

If you destroy normality as brutally as Vladimir Putin does, normal relationships can no longer exist.
