China News Agency, Beijing, December 16th. Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi delivered a video speech at the 17th China-Central and Eastern European Countries Cooperation National Coordinators Meeting on the 16th.

Wang Yi reviewed the 10-year history of cooperation, emphasizing that China and Central and Eastern European countries have deep historical ties, complementary development advantages, strong demand for cooperation, and common desire for revitalization, and they are natural cooperative partners.

No matter how the international situation changes, we must focus on implementing the consensus reached at the Beijing Summit and promote cooperation in a more resilient, coordinated, open and mutually beneficial direction.

Wang Yi put forward four suggestions on deepening cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

The first is to uphold unity and friendship.

Friendship is the keynote of China's policy towards Europe, and cooperation is the general goal of China's policy towards Europe.

The second is to insist on synergy.

Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries is an integral part of China-EU cooperation. It abides by market rules and EU standards and helps Europe achieve more balanced development.

The third is to adhere to openness and win-win results.

China will unswervingly expand opening up to the outside world, continue to import more superior products from CEECs, and treat enterprises from CEECs in China equally.

The fourth is to insist on being pragmatic and inclusive.

China is willing to introduce more new measures in the fields of exporting agricultural and food products to China, e-commerce, finance, interconnection, and facilitation of personnel exchanges.

The meeting was held in the form of video. The Special Representative of China-Central and Eastern European Countries Cooperation Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the national coordinators or representatives of Central and Eastern European member states attended the meeting.
