thunderous explosion reverberates through the city of Kieu.

Huge black smoke billows from the outskirts of the city.

Yesterday (16th), the Russian military fired at least 76 missiles across Ukraine, including the capital Kiiu.

It is the largest since the airstrikes on the 5th.

Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valery Zaluznyi, said on social media that Russia had "intercepted" 60 of the 76 missiles launched.

Ukrainian authorities said the airstrikes destroyed an apartment building in central Kribirikh, killing two people and injuring five others.

One death also occurred in southern Kherson.

Energy Minister Hermann Hallusenko said at least nine energy facilities, including power plants and substations, were also damaged.

As a result, it is reported that half of Ukraine's households are without electricity, and electricity is also cut off in neighboring Moldova.

In Kiiu, an air raid warning was also issued, causing a large number of citizens to evacuate into the subway station, and subway service was temporarily suspended.

Russia's missile strikes targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure are relentless.
