• Politics Feijóo already places the PSOE outside the Constitution: "In 2017 in Parliament, it was with the Magna Carta and yesterday it abandoned it"

The president of the PP in

Aragon

,

Jorge Azcón

, has confirmed that he will be the

popular

candidate for the Presidency of the Government of Aragon in the May 2023 elections and has warned that the rival, the PSOE, "is capable of anything" .

"We know what the rival is like and the PSOE we know that they are capable of anything to cling to power and when I say everything is absolutely everything and they do not care about cheating in their political formation and buying the vote as they did in the Huesca mayor's office in 2019 , like chieftains of the 19th century", he emphasized.

For this reason, the mayor of

Zaragoza

has also warned that "we cannot relax, we must continue with our business. Work, work, work and work", he repeated.

In his speech, he asked "not to engage in provocations" and detected that "they are nervous, they smell defeat and they have to seek confrontation".

Given this, he has assured that the PP will advance "providing reasons, proposals and arguments, with accredited management and formulas that have shown that they work and with the capacity for work and high vision and with deep love for Aragon and Spain and an unwavering desire to improve the life of compatriots".

Azcón has once again warned that the opponents of the PP are going to try to use his candidacy to "sow instability in the City Council and they will do everything they think will benefit them even if it harms the city": "They have been asking him to leave the mayor's office many months before to announce this candidacy. That they give up the attempt, we will continue defending the interests of the people of Zaragoza".

Azcón has conveyed this decision during his speech in the Management Committee of the PP-Aragón, and has later formalized it in the Autonomous Board of Directors.

"With this step I fulfill the duty that I assumed a year ago to make the PP the best instrument for all Aragonese", he explained.

"SOCIOPOPULISM BRANCH"

Jorge Azcón has attacked Javier Lambán and the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, noting that both "are only guided by their personal interest in staying in their respective seats, "clinging to power one more day, whatever the price" .

"To get Sánchez out of Moncloa, we first have to get Lambán out of Pignatelli", he stated, and stressed that Aragonese socialism act, vote and applaud Sánchez, no matter how much "imposted dissent" he tries to proclaim to the media communication.

"We often hear Lambán charge in his statements against the independentistas, but when we take a motion to the Parliament of Aragon to vote for what he has said, he always votes the opposite of what he has said. Because all the deputies of the PSOE in Aragon , each and every one of them, but also those who are elected in Huesca, Zaragoza and Teruel, vote exactly what Sánchez tells them they have to vote. They vote in favor of the pardons and now they vote without embarrassment, the ranks tight, in favor of eliminating sedition and reducing crimes that have to do with corruption", he described.

Faced with an Aragonese socialism "without personality, nor its own criteria, a branch of Sánchez's social populism", the Aragonese PP is willing to defend the interests of Aragon and Spain against the plans of the current president of the Executive".

He has asserted that "Sanchista socialism, including the Aragonese socialists, works for Sánchez, for nationalism, for radicalism; not for the Aragonese or for the Spanish", Azcón highlighted, something that the Aragonese are not going to forget: " Saying one thing and voting for the opposite is a double betrayal."

ONLY ALTERNATIVE

Sharp has said that the project of the PP Aragón is "more necessary than ever" arguing the 'popular' with the "only alternative to so much error and so much nonsense on the left".

To achieve a change in the Government of Aragon, the PP candidate has presented the endorsement of his management as head of the Zaragoza City Council, which he has described as "sensible, reasonable and well valued".

That is the model of the PP, "a management based on stability and compliance with the pacts" like the one that has characterized his mandate from the mayoralty of the capital and now "the time has come to turn around the whole of Aragon by winning the elections and governing in Aragon".

Azcón has described this task as "a democratic service" that the PP must provide to Aragon and Spain in two phases: first in the local and regional elections and then in the general ones.

This management model in the City Council and its "good results" are the "best guarantee" to undertake the "essential" challenge of "sending the PSOE of Sánchez and Lambán to the opposition" at the regional and national levels.

The candidate assured that the PP has "equipment, ideas and a leftover project to continue governing Zaragoza these five months and the next legislatures".

In his opinion, Aragon needs this change to stop having a "fractionated" autonomous government, where the parties that make it up --PSOE, Podemos, PAR and CHA-- have different opinions, opposite things about the great axes of development of the community" among which he has cited snow, agribusiness or hydraulic policy, and "where in the end the left imposes its criteria and the result is more taxes and worse public services".

THE PROJECT

To reverse this situation, Azcón has assured that the PP project is the response that citizens demand "against a PSOE capable of blowing up everything out of sheer desire for power: we offer and defend our project for Aragon and for Spain."

"We have - he reiterated - the project that this country needs, the only alternative capable of sending Sánchez and Lambán to the opposition".

To achieve this, the PP has an "ambitious, broad, inclusive for all Aragonese with reformist, liberal, conservative, Aragonese ideology or who may feel orphaned of political representation and who do not want to be accomplices of the drift of the Sanchista PSOE that is undermining the most essential constitutional foundations".

He has advanced that the objective before May 28 is to concentrate the vote of "those Aragonese who reject the left-wing policies of a quadripartite that has been subject to Lambán and Sánchez."

The PP project is the common space for all those who want to join to promote "an Aragonese and constitutional model of social progress", he has described.

Faced with the "mismanagement" of the left, the PP offers experience, certainties and opportunities.

"There is another way of doing things, from seriousness, responsibility, determination, from quick and efficient management: that is our model. We can say loud and clear that we will do it well".

Azcón has ruled that "change is underway" to detail that it is led by the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, from work, moderation, with "ideas, proposals, reasons and arguments."

"Next May 28 we are going to do it again. We are going to win in Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel and we are going to govern the main Aragonese institutions again. As hard and difficult as it is, we have done it and, believe me, we will we are going to do it again", concluded the PP candidate for the Government of Aragon.
