To support the Blues against Argentina next Sunday in the World Cup final, thousands of French people will travel to Qatar this weekend.

At least 6,000 French supporters are expected in Doha, despite the very high prices of plane tickets.

At least 6,000 French supporters are expected at the Lusail stadium in Doha for the World Cup final, Argentina-France, on Sunday (4:00 p.m.), we learned from the French Football Federation on Friday.

About 3,000 French people had already planned to come to Qatar by booking a conditional ticket, valid in the event of the Blues qualifying for the final, we learned from the same source.

And around 3,000 additional tickets have since been awarded by Fifa to the FFF, which is working with two travel agencies to organize the arrival of these supporters.

All FFF employees invited to the final

The Color agency, mandated by the FFF, for example offered trips from 1,600 euros for a round trip to Doha on Sunday, according to its website.

The Federation has also invited all of its employees for Sunday's final, as well as presidents of leagues and districts, we learned from sources close to the body.

Les Bleus fans are likely to be vastly outnumbered at the Lusail stadium in northern Doha as thousands of Argentines have followed the Albiceleste since the start of the tournament.

Argentina is also very supported locally by the people of Qatar.

The Lusail stadium, built for this World Cup, can accommodate nearly 89,000 spectators.
