The Air Force thought they had the perfect plan: take their old Reaper drones they've been trying to get rid of for years and send them to Ukraine, which was begging for long-range weapons.

However, the Pentagon still doubts the possibility of such a delivery.

According to the sources of the publication, Washington is concerned that some of the transferred drones will "almost certainly be shot down."

Earlier, the White House announced that the United States had allocated a new $275 million defense aid package to Ukraine.

The new package includes HIMARS ammunition and anti-drone systems.
