In the craft program at Holavedsgymnasiet in Tranås, there are currently a total of seven girls studying fine carpentry.

In first grade three out of ten students are girls, in second grade three out of nine students and in third grade there is one girl out of eight students.

And that is Linnéa Wilén Åberg.

Linnea dreams of becoming a furniture designer after her education.

- For me, this is a good start, she says.

"Male-dominated industry"

She believes that marketing is an important part of reaching even more girls to the education.

- It is quite difficult because it is a very male-dominated industry.

The fact that more girls come in makes girls feel safer and want to try it out, says Linnéa.
