British pop star Elton John has announced that he will no longer use Twitter in light of recent changes that allow misinformation to flood unchecked.
"It's sad to see how false information is being used to divide the world," John wrote in her Twitter post.
In response, Tesla founder Musk, who recently took over Twitter, commented, "I love you" and "I hope you come back."
Previously, after acquiring Twitter, Musk caused controversy by changing content management policies, such as restoring the account of former US President Trump.
