The Swedish company IKEA did not comply with the demands of the workers of its two factories in the Leningrad and Kirov regions, who insisted on accruing annual bonuses, keeping jobs during a change of ownership and substantial payments in case of dismissal.
This was reported on the page of the Vkontakte network of the trade union of the IKEA Tikhvin plant, which is located in the Leningrad Region.
“The Inter IKEA group refused the joint demands of the workers of the IKEA factories in Tikhvin and Vyatka,” the union said.
In October, it became known that IKEA laid off 10,000 of its employees in Russia.
