In eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, fighting between the M23 armed group and the Congolese army has already pushed some 400,000 people onto the roads.

Since March, more than 100,000 civilians have sought refuge in Uganda.

Hundreds of families arrive each week in the country, which already has 1.5 million refugees.

The Ugandan camps are saturated, and the government and the UN overwhelmed.

The only solution: send the new arrivals 300 km from the border, in a large reception area.

Thousands of Congolese are trying to start a new life there, but conditions are precarious.
