Aboul Gheit continued, "China is today the largest trading partner of the Arab world," noting that the relations between the two sides are not limited to economy and trade, but rather stand on a solid foundation of cultural and human convergence between two civilized systems, and each of them has a firm desire to build bridges of cooperation. At all humanitarian, cultural, scientific and academic levels.

He pointed out that cooperation and exchange of support and assistance, to confront the (Covid-19) pandemic, is a distinguished example of the strength of relations between the two sides, and is not limited to the exchange of expertise and medical equipment, which left a good impact on the hearts of the Arab and Chinese peoples, and contributed to mitigating the effects of the pandemic.

The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States expressed his appreciation for China's continuous support for the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is their legitimate right to establish their independent state on the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

He added that the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories is unsustainable in the absence of any horizon for a peaceful settlement based on the two-state solution, which heralds a dangerous explosion that will not be in the interest of stability in the Middle East, expressing the aspiration for friendly China, with all its influence on the international arena, to push in the direction of Launch a credible peace process leading to an end to this prolonged occupation.

And he added, "We also look forward to supporting the Palestinian endeavor to obtain full membership in the United Nations," noting that two issues are of particular importance. , and less emissions, without prejudice to the rights of developing countries to growth, and with a long-term and gradual view of the transformation of energy sources that would not destabilize the global economy.

He continued, "As for the other issue, it is related to the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, which is of great importance to our Arab region, in light of Iran's relentless pursuit of acquiring the technology used for nuclear armament, with its insistence not to subject its nuclear facilities to inspection, as well as in light of Israel's refusal to join the non-violent treaty." proliferation of nuclear weapons.

Aboul Gheit reaffirmed that closer Arab-Chinese cooperation can unleash huge energies and unlimited opportunities, especially for the youth sector, stressing that the development potential in the Arab region is great and promising, and the ambitious development plans can change the face of the future.
