According to TASS with reference to the press service of the retailer, "the leak became known on the night of December 8-9."

It is noted that network specialists independently discovered the leak and promptly took measures to correct the situation.

“Third parties received files containing public data of some of our customers, namely: phone numbers and email addresses, dates and amounts of orders, and the last four digits of a bank card number,” Vkusvill said.

At the same time, the company said that the lost data does not include names, addresses and full payment data of bank cards.

The company is said to be investigating the situation.

In October, the Russian electronics network DNS reported a leak of personal data of customers and employees due to a hacker attack.
