Volkswagen has officially announced the upcoming arrival of the new MEB + platform, inaugurated by the Volkswagen ID.3 in 2019, and which equips almost all new electric models from Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Cupra.
This new platform will increase the fast charging capacity, since it will support 175 or even 200 kW in direct current, instead of 135 kW currently.
Entry-level at 25,000 €
Autonomy will also take a leap forward since the brand speaks of 700 km in the case of the most high-end models, equipped with very large batteries.
Volkswagen also specifies that the MEB+ structure will give rise to an entry-level electric model whose price will be close to €25,000.
