Eolus has been planning the Styggtjärnsberget for a few years, but the Djupkär residents, seven households, only found out about the wind power plans when an information letter about the consultation process recently steamed into the letterbox.

Jenny Johansson was, among other things, critical that the municipality did not inform about the plans and had arranged a meeting with the municipal councilor Johanna Odö (S).

- We are not the ones who own this project, but it is a private company.

We will meet again to talk about how they want information going forward.

But there were other issues as well where they feel forgotten and we don't want that, says Johanna Odö (S).

In addition to the municipal council, several local politicians were present.

Several Smedjeback residents had also come to the Theater cinema.

On Thursday, a similar meeting is held in Vad's village cottage in Smedjebacken municipality.

Norberg already has Västmanland's only wind farm, Målarberget.

Here, municipal councilor Johanna Odö (S) answers where the municipality and her party, the Social Democrats, stand right now on the issue surrounding Styggtjärnsberget:
