Russian President Vladimir Putin has claimed that repeated attacks targeting energy-related facilities in Ukraine, which continues its military invasion, are in retaliation for the destruction of Russian power plants.

In various parts of Ukraine, since October this year, Russian military missile attacks on energy-related facilities such as power plants have been repeated. I appealed on social media about the difficult situation.

Against this backdrop, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in front of military soldiers in the capital Moscow on the 8th, "There is a lot of talk about attacks on energy-related facilities in neighboring countries. That's right, we are doing it." He admitted that he was conducting attacks targeting places.

In addition, he said, "Who started it? Who damaged the bridge leading to Crimea and blew up the power plant in Russia?" He claimed that it was retaliation for the destruction of the facility.

However, he did not mention that Ukrainian military drones allegedly attacked an air force base in Russia on December 5.

In Ukraine, on the 8th, Russian forces continued to bombard, and Donetsk Governor Kirilenko said that at least nine people were killed in the state the day before, and on the 8th, around Bakhmut, one of the Ukrainian side's strongholds. I wrote on social media that there was a shelling and two people died.

On the other hand, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the 8th that "there are still territories left to be liberated in the new regions of Russia," saying that the Putin administration unilaterally claimed to have annexed four regions in eastern and southern Ukraine. He once again showed his intention to continue the invasion with the aim of seizing the state.
