The Terrassa Investigating Court number 4 ordered the release on charges of a Terrassa resident accused of keeping his partner kidnapped for a week in a cabin and raping her on several occasions.

He is accused of the crimes of illegal detention, sexual assault, threats and against public health, since drugs were found in the house, and the case will be processed by the Court of Violence against Women of Terrassa when verifying that there is an "affective" relationship between the alleged aggressor and the victim".

This Thursday the judge took a statement from the defendant, three witnesses and the victim and is awaiting the results of laboratory tests regarding the examination of the woman.

For this reason, the magistrate agreed to the provisional release of the person under investigation, although he imposed several precautionary measures such as the obligation to appear weekly before the judicial authority, prohibition to leave the country, withdrawal of passport and protection order for the victim.

Thus, the person investigated will not be able to communicate in any way with the victim and must maintain a minimum distance of 500 meters from the place of residence, work, or studies or from her.

Last Tuesday, the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested the suspect and released the victim, who declared that she had been held in a cabin in a wooded area of ​​Terrassa since the end of November and that at that time she had been subjected to sexual assaults.

A relative reported the victim's disappearance after she was able to warn her captor in an oversight.

The agents appeared at the house and released her, in addition to arresting her partner, 35, who has a fifty-year police record.

After being released, the victim was taken to a hospital for examination.

The court awaits these reports to determine the injuries suffered during her captivity.
