In streamer, we hear trimming and that's a good warning.

When we have the mission, like the Grand Arras Initiative Network, to transmit to a young audience the desire to undertake, we must often remember that the career of content producer for Twitch is not easy.

Ditto for esports, influence, etc.

Sectors for which there are more called than elected…

But this is not a reason to shower the desires of future entrepreneurs.

"In Arrageois, we are part of the major business support networks," explains Stéphane Efoua, deputy director of the association.

But we do not know how to support young people who want to become a streamer.

How to connect a consumer audience of video games and identify the desires of those who want to be actors?

By setting up this first edition of Arras Passion Digitale on Saturday, the Arras network is trying to reconcile these two objectives: in a few stands, to give young people all the keys to setting up their business in the field of streaming, Web3 and e -sport, and organize round tables that will warn them against the obstacles standing in their way.

Correct misconceptions

“What is interesting is that e-sport, for example, is above all sport, which means that unfortunately we will not all be great champions, recalls Stéphane Efoua.

But you can be interested in the field without becoming the #1 streamer or player. There are plenty of other possible careers in the field.

During this free day punctuated by concerts and e-sport tournaments, young people from Arrage will be able to learn about the possibilities offered by video games, in particular.

But also Web3 with the presence of Tristan Lécuyer, founder of The IFC, an application dedicated to FIFA tournaments, halfway between e-sport and Web3.

He will speak, as well as 20 Minutes, at one of the round tables organized during the afternoon, intended to correct a certain number of received ideas on gaming, cryptos, NFTs... "Our objective is to bring a real information to an audience that is vulnerable to everything they can hear on social networks,” says Stéphane Efoua.

The event, organized with the town hall and the urban community of Arras, is open to all free of charge from 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Saint-Vaast cultural center.
