Two suspects were arrested during a security campaign against human smugglers in Germany

German authorities launched a campaign of raids and searches against suspected human smugglers this morning.



A police spokesman said the federal police had searched several homes and buildings in Berlin, Fürst and Siegen as part of the campaign.



The spokesman stated that the campaign aims to combat smuggling for the purpose of profiting foreigners to Germany.



The authorities issued arrest warrants against six people, and two of them were arrested this morning in Berlin and Fürst.
