Faced with the investigators, this man, holder of a residence permit and whose criminal record bears no trace of "no conviction", according to the prosecution, admitted having had "a lively altercation" with the two men, but "denies having intended to kill them".
The bodies of the two victims had been discovered lying on the ground about ten meters from the house they occupied, without right or title.
Traces of stab wounds were found.
One of the two men had a serious head trauma.
The results of the autopsies have not yet been communicated.
