It was previously said that Thursday's planned payment would be paid out this Friday, but that promise was not kept.

New notice is therefore Tuesday next week.

- The forecast is very good for it to go on Tuesday, says Sweden's a-kassos' communications manager Johan Ahlgren to TT.

Most of the 24 a cash registers pay out their money weekly on Thursdays.

It is around SEK 250 million to be paid out for this week.

The background is the "cyber security-related incident" that Sweden's a-kassor's system detected last Friday.

Since then, the systems have been shut down pending an investigation into what happened and what possible damage may have been caused to the systems.

- We have to make sure that it is really safe to open up the systems.

It is a system for 24 different cash registers that must work in every corner and nook.

It's a huge control work in advance, says Johan Ahlgren.

He cannot provide any detailed information about the incident - he does not want to call it a determined cyber attack.

It is not yet known what the purpose was.

- But it is a very serious incident.

The most affected in this are those who are waiting for their compensation.
