On the afternoon of May 5, 2022, a woman was found badly stabbed on the roof of a hotel in Västra hamnen in Malmö.

She told the Malmö district court that the 23-year-old customer asked if she agreed to sexual acts, to which she said no, and that he then held her by the throat and then cut her.

He then pushed her down on the bed and stabbed her twice more in the chest with the knife.

She then escaped onto the balcony, jumped over a fence and landed on the roof.

Couldn't scream

She couldn't scream but waved her hands and three women working nearby saw her lying bloody on the roof as they took a coffee break.

They called an ambulance and the woman quickly received medical attention so her life could be saved.

The 23-year-old was found through the contacts he had with the person who booked sex clients for the woman.

He was then arrested by the police task force in a place in Småland.

DNA secured in the hotel room

The prosecutor demanded that he be sentenced for attempted murder, and the district court believes that the evidence relied on in support of the prosecution makes it beyond reasonable doubt that the 23-year-old is the perpetrator.

Among other things, his fingerprints have been found on the door to the hotel room and his DNA has been secured inside the hotel room where the woman was assaulted.

In addition, there is other evidence which, according to the Malmö District Court, is troublesome for the man.

Therefore, the 23-year-old is now convicted of attempted murder and will be deported for life.
