The general meeting of the bipartisan federation of parliamentarians was held in the Diet on the evening of the 7th, and was attended by about 260 people, including Prime Minister Kishida, former Secretary-General of the Liberal Democratic Party Nikai who serves as chairman of the Diet, and Mayor Matsui of Osaka City.



In this, Prime Minister Kishida said, ``The Osaka-Kansai Expo is a national project for Japan to overcome the new corona and move towards a new era. I am trying," he said.



After that, Prime Minister Kishida indicated that he would like to visit the site soon and exchange opinions with the people concerned.

On the other hand, Mayor Matsui of Osaka City said, ``We must make it a catalyst for further growth not only in Osaka and Kansai, but also in the Japanese economy, rather than ending it as a temporary event.''
