A 24-year-old young man vanished on leaving a nightclub on the night of Saturday to Sunday, in Valenciennes, in the North.

Four days later, concern increases over the fate of Maxime Pluchard.

His relatives appealed for witnesses and a police investigation was opened.

Saturday, around 3 a.m., the young man alone left the nightclub L'Opéra bar, avenue du Général Horne, to walk back to his home located a kilometer away.

According to his relatives, he had warned his friend that he was on his way.

Except that Maxime never arrived home and hasn't given a sign of life since.

A hunt organized this Wednesday

Still according to his relatives, the young man was seen around 3 a.m., near Nungesser, not far from the nightclub, running “quite quickly after cars”.

His phone was then found near the "Sainte Catherine" tram stop, between the Opera bar and his home.

For the moment, the video surveillance has only been able to confirm that Maxime was indeed going up the street along the tram between the Nungesser and Sainte Catherine stops.

A hunt is organized this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. from the Opera bar.

Those with information are invited to contact 17.
