Arrest of a man who threw an egg at King Charles III

British police arrested a man yesterday on suspicion of involvement in the incident of throwing an egg at King Charles III during a visit to his hometown.

King Charles was meeting members of the public outside the town hall in Luton, north London, when the egg was apparently thrown.

Bedfordshire Police announced that a man in his twenties was being questioned over the assault.

Last month, a 23-year-old man was arrested after throwing eggs at Charles and his wife, Camilla, during a visit to York, northern England.

The man was later released on bail.
