We knew the 13th month, but a Dutch entrepreneur invented a new concept: a sort of “no limit” 12th month.

Joris Toonders, who owns three companies in the Internet sector, has indeed promised his employees to pay for all their shopping in December.

Just that.

No maximum amount

Each employee has thus obtained a golden envelope in which they can put their receipts for the month.

“Everything will then be paid for”, assures the entrepreneur on Linkedin.

“The maximum amount?

There are not any.

I trust all my colleagues and hope everyone enjoys it,” he adds.

Joris Toonders explained his approach to the Dutch media RTL Nieuws.

“I want a positive corporate culture and employee happiness is part of that,” he said.

He runs the Yonego, Xpendy and Bambelo companies and has around a hundred employees.

The note could therefore be salty.

But, since he has not set any limits, the entrepreneur will be surprised at the beginning of January.

Last year, its employees were entitled to a bottle of champagne, a dinner voucher and a dinner package in a restaurant.
