According to the deputy, the idea is interesting and should be carefully studied.

“The initiative needs to be considered ... It is interesting and, perhaps, it will find application in life,” Svishchev said.

He also drew attention to the fact that any measures to attract fellow citizens to fitness clubs and an active lifestyle are correct.

“Now the state is doing a lot to, among other things, compensate for the costs incurred by our citizens for the fitness club.

There are also several projects under development that can motivate residents to play sports and employers to spend money on their employees.

We are doing a lot and, I think, in the near future you will see the initiatives that will be," the parliamentarian added.

Earlier, State Duma deputy Vasily Vlasov proposed extending the terms of subscriptions to fitness clubs upon presentation of a sick leave by the client.

In the appeal, the legislator noted that at present, when selling subscriptions, fitness clubs, as a rule, do not take into account the fact that a client can miss classes due to illness, paying for the period of validity of the subscription that is not used in connection with this.
