A young woman has been released this afternoon by the Mossos after being kidnapped at the end of November by a man, who has been arrested, and remaining locked in a cabin in the Barcelona municipality of Terrassa, where she has been the object of sexual assault.
Mossos sources have informed EFE that the release took place around one in the afternoon in a cabin located in a wooded area of Terrassa after the investigation opened yesterday when a relative of the young woman reported her disappearance to the police.
The 35-year-old detainee is accused by the Mossos of illegal detention, sexual assault, threats and injuries, and has fifty police records.
The young woman, after being released, has been transferred to a hospital for examination.
