National autumn grain purchases total over 70 million tons

  Our newspaper, Beijing, December 5th (Reporter Du Haitao) The State Bureau of Grain and Material Reserves recently released that since the autumn grain was listed, various tasks of autumn grain acquisition are being carried out in an all-round and orderly manner.

As of November 30, various grain enterprises in the main production areas have purchased 70.35 million tons of autumn grain, an increase of 5.37 million tons year-on-year, and the progress of the purchase is significantly faster than the same period last year.

  At present, the south is at the peak of procurement, and the progress of mid-to-late rice procurement has reached nearly 70%.

Processing companies are actively replenishing their warehouses, reserve companies are starting to rotate, trading companies are optimistic about the market outlook, and market acquisitions are relatively active, with market-oriented acquisitions accounting for more than 95%.

  The relevant person in charge of the State Grain and Material Reserve Bureau stated that the purchase of autumn grain is the top priority of the annual grain purchase, which is related to the vital interests of grain farmers, the overall situation of food security and economic and social development.

Grain and reserve departments at all levels and related enterprises must further improve their political positions, with a "big country" in mind, and use higher standards, more practical measures, and stricter requirements to do their best to do a good job in autumn grain purchases.

  Previously, the National Grain and Material Reserve Bureau held a national autumn grain purchase work conference, requiring grain and reserve departments at all levels and relevant enterprises to adhere to bottom-line thinking and problem orientation, take multiple measures, work hard, and fully implement various purchase policies measure.

First, market-based acquisitions and policy-based acquisitions must be earnestly carried out.

Formulate acquisition work plans and response plans according to local conditions, guide multiple entities to actively enter the market, and expand market-based purchases and sales.

Second, we must continue to optimize services for farmers and enterprises.

Coordinate epidemic prevention and control and autumn grain purchases, further optimize the purchase process, actively carry out pre-order purchases and order purchases, and effectively improve the level of purchase services.

Strengthen grain post-production services and scientific guidance on grain storage.

Third, we must make every effort to ensure the smooth operation of the market.

Closely track market changes, strengthen situation analysis and judgment, and timely release information such as acquisition progress and prices; strengthen policy publicity and interpretation, actively respond to social concerns, and guide market players to purchase and sell in an orderly manner.

Make overall plans for the organization and dispatch of grain sources, pay attention to the adjustment role of reserve throughput, and ensure stable supply in the market.

Fourth, we must effectively strengthen the supervision and inspection of acquisitions.

Intensify grain purchase and inspection efforts to maintain good market order.

Consolidate the main responsibility of enterprises for safety production, and resolutely prevent grain storage and safety production accidents.
