  The Macao Health Bureau issued an announcement in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. Starting from 00:00 on December 6, the epidemic prevention measures for people who intend to enter the country and those who have already entered the country (including Macao residents and non-Macao residents) with a travel history in different risk areas in the Mainland will be adjusted as follows:

  1. Those who intend to enter the country and have already entered the country with a history of living in high-risk areas in Mainland China on the same day or in the past 5 days will maintain the "5+3" measures, that is, 5 days of centralized isolation and 3 days of home isolation.

  2. Measures for those who intend to enter the country and those who have already entered the country who have a history of living in low-risk areas in Mainland China on the same day or in the past 5 days are as follows:

  (1) When boarding a plane, boarding a ship or entering the country through a land port, a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 24 hours after the sampling day and a rapid antigen test within 6 hours are required. The result is negative and the result has been uploaded to the Macao Health Code;

  (2) Nucleic acid tests must be carried out on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th days after entering or becoming aware of the relevant risks, with at least 12 hours between samples for each nucleic acid test.

  (3) From the day after entering the country or becoming aware of the relevant risks, a rapid antigen test must be carried out once a day for 5 consecutive days, and the results should be uploaded to the Macao Health Code.

  3. The measures for those who have only lived in the normal management area and directly entered the country from the mainland other than Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province are as follows:

  (1) When entering the country, you must hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours after the sampling date (this requirement will come into effect at 00:00 on December 7) and a rapid antigen test within 6 hours. The result is negative and the result has been uploaded to Macau Health Code;

  (2) Receive a free nucleic acid test immediately after entering the country, and receive a nucleic acid test on the first and second days after the day of entry, with at least 12 hours between each nucleic acid test;

  (3) From the next day of entry, a rapid antigen test must be carried out once a day for 5 consecutive days, and the results shall be uploaded to the Macao Health Code.

Measures can be terminated after departure.

  For example: a free nucleic acid test is performed immediately after entering Macau on Monday, nucleic acid test and rapid antigen test are required on Tuesday and Wednesday, and rapid antigen test is performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday; if you leave the country on Thursday, the measures will be implemented until Thursday until.

  4. The measures for those who only have a residence history in the normal management area and enter the country through Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province are as follows:

  (1) When entering the country, a negative nucleic acid test certificate must be presented on or within 24 hours after the sampling day.

  (2) A nucleic acid test shall be carried out on the first and second days after the day of entry, and the interval between each nucleic acid test shall be at least 12 hours;

  (3) People who live in hotels or apartment-style hotels after entering the country must take a rapid antigen test once a day for 5 consecutive days from the day after entering the country, and upload the results to the Macao Health Code.

Measures can be terminated after departure.

  For example, if you enter Macau on Monday, you need to undergo nucleic acid testing on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you live in a hotel after entering Macau, you must also undergo rapid antigen testing on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; if you leave the country on Thursday, the measures will be implemented until Thursday.

  The Response Coordination Center also reminded that if nucleic acid testing and sampling are not carried out on the designated date, the Macau Health Code will turn yellow the next day, and those who have not been tested for nucleic acid within the day of the yellow code will have their Macau Health Code turn red.

If you do not declare the results of the rapid antigen test by the specified date, the Macau Health Code will change to a yellow code on the next day. If you declare the rapid antigen test results on the day of the yellow code, the Macau Health Code can be converted back to the green code.
