Ryabkov: further expansion of NATO will receive a compensatory response from Russia

As previously reported by the magazine "Military Thought", which publishes the Russian Ministry of Defense, if Sweden and Finland join NATO, Russia should increase its military presence in the northern direction.

Under such a scenario, the alliance's common border with Russia would increase by more than 1,000 km.
