MiG-21 of the Croatian Air Force crashed in the north-east of the country

It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the statement of the Croatian department.

“The aircraft of the Croatian Air Force MiG-21 during a planned training flight on Tuesday at about 14:00 (16:00 Moscow time) crashed on the territory near Slatina in Virovititsko-Podravina County.

All measures have been taken to search and rescue the crew," the ministry said.

In January, it was reported that a US F-35 fighter jet crashed into the South China Sea while trying to land on a Navy aircraft carrier.
