A Turkish parliamentarian was taken to hospital today, after he was injured in a fight with government deputies inside parliament in Ankara, according to local media.
The private Demiroren news agency reported that MP Hussein Urs of the opposition "Good" party was transferred after a deputy from the ruling Justice and Development Party punched him and knocked him to the ground.
Urs was transferred to the intensive care unit, the report said, where he was reported to have an arrhythmia.
Pictures published by Demiroren Agency showed MP Urs being transported in an ambulance.
The two groups clashed verbally, which later turned into hand-to-hand combat.
