China News Agency, Bangkok, December 6th (Reporter Wang Guoan) A bomb exploded on a railway in Songkhla Province in southern Thailand on the 6th.

Local media reported that the blast killed three railway workers and injured four others.

  The explosion occurred around 6:24 a.m. local time.

After the police arrived, the scene was cordoned off and the injured were taken to the hospital.

  On December 3, there was also a railway explosion near the explosion site, which caused a freight train to derail and overturn, and 11 of the 20 carriages were damaged.

Afterwards, local personnel arranged for safe cleaning and maintenance of the railway affected by the explosion.

  According to reports, when the explosion occurred on the morning of the 6th, workers were cleaning and repairing the section of the road.

Currently, the police are investigating the cause of the explosion.

  Recently, there have been many explosions in southern Thailand, including the November 16 gas station bomb attack in Pattani Province and the November 22 car bomb explosion at the Taogong City Police Apartment.
