This was reported by TASS with reference to the trade union association of the Vilnius public transport enterprise.

“A year has passed, and we have not been able to agree with the administration on the abolition of the remuneration system that does not suit the staff,” the association noted.

According to the trade union, 40% of drivers participate in the strike.

In November, the UK Railway, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) voted to continue the strikes for the next six months.
